Trabzonspor, sitting 7th in the Süper Lig with 10 points, have received an injury blow to their squad. Young goalkeeper Onuralp Çevikkan has been placed under treatment after sustaining an injury during training.

The club's statement confirmed that the 20-year-old player felt pain in training, and subsequent examination and MRI imaging revealed a partial tear and bleeding in the muscles and tendon of his right anterior thigh. Head of the Health Board Prof. Dr. Ahmet Beşir said, "The treatment of our player has been started by our health team."

No timeline was given for Çevikkan's return, which could affect the club's goalkeeper rotation. Trabzonspor are preparing for their next match away to 16th-placed Samsunspor on Thursday, 10 October 2026. The team's form in the last five matches reads two wins and three losses.

The team's full schedule for the season is also available on the fixtures page. Onuralp Çevikkan's treatment will continue under the supervision of the club's doctors.
