In line with its preparations for the upcoming season, Trabzonspor has made another significant announcement regarding a player transfer. The club has informed KAP (Kadıköy Athletic Propaganda) that they have reached an agreement with Standard De Liege to secure the services of 18-year-old forward Rene Mitongo.
The terms of the transfer are as follows: According to the agreement, Trabzonspor will pay a release fee of €3,000,000 in three installments to Standard De Liege. Additionally, if Mitongo is transferred to another club, 15% of any transfer fees that exceed the amount paid by Trabzonspor will be credited back to them.
Trabzonspor has entered into a four-and-a-half-year contract with Rene Mitongo Muteba, which includes an option for renewal. The agreement stipulates that the player will receive a guaranteed salary of €675,000 per season. If Trabzonspor exercises its option to retain Mitongo beyond 2030/2031, his guaranteed salary will increase to €780,000.
Furthermore, Trabzonspor will receive a management service fee equivalent to 4.7% of the gross salary paid to Mitongo.
