Trabzonspor Sportif Yatırım ve Futbol İşletmeciliği Ticaret AŞ has secured the transfer of 18-year-old Belgian goalkeeper Rene Mitongo from Standard Liege. The deal is for four and a half years, with potential extensions.

Transfer Details

The official announcement made to Borsa İstanbul and published on the Kamuyu Aydınlatma Platform (KAP) states that Trabzonspor has agreed to transfer Mitongo to Standard Liege. According to the terms of the agreement, Standard Liege will pay a release clause fee of 3 million euros in three installments.

In case of another club's transfer of Mitongo to Standard Liege, the remaining amount after deducting the fees paid or to be paid by Trabzonspor will be subject to a 15% share being transferred back to Trabzonspor. For each football season, Mitongo is guaranteed an annual salary of 675,000 euros. Should the option clause be exercised by Trabzonspor in 2030-2031, his guaranteed salary will increase to 780,000 euros for that specific season.
