Trabzonspor has announced its net debt stands at 2.9 billion Turkish lira. The club disclosed its financial position as of 31 August 2026.

In a statement, the club explained that the figure was calculated after deducting current assets and certain receivables from total short and long-term debts. Trabzonspor said, "When our financial statements are examined, after netting off the total current assets of 6.7 billion TL, our 2.6 billion TL receivable from privatisation revenues which is not included in Sportif A.Ş.'s consolidated financial statements, and 1.8 billion TL worth of inflation accounting-related transactions that will not create any cash outflow, it will be seen that our club's net debt as of 31.08.2026 is 2.9 billion TL."

The statement also noted that the publicly known 4.9 billion TL privatisation receivable was deducted from total debts, and all future amounts of transfer fee obligations as of the report date were included. The financial statements cover the period from 1 June to 31 August 2026.

This financial disclosure comes as the team shows strong recent form on the pitch. Sitting 5th in the Süper Lig with 13 points, Trabzonspor has scored 10 goals in its last 5 matches. The team is coming off a 3-0 away win against Samsunspor. A key fixture awaits next. Trabzonspor hosts second-placed Beşiktaş on Sunday, 18 October 2026.
