Ahmet Çakar evaluated Trabzonspor's 4-0 victory over Galatasaray in the 6th week of the Süper Lig. Çakar stated clearly that Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk's time at the club should come to an end.
Çakar said, "In my opinion, after tonight, the business between Okan Buruk and Galatasaray is over, it should be over." Criticizing Galatasaray's repeated defensive errors in recent matches, Çakar described Mohamed Salah's 70-meter run from a corner to score as a situation even amateur teams prepare for. This win moved Trabzonspor to 7th place in the league with 10 points and took Mohamed Salah's season goal tally to 7.
REFEREE PERFORMANCE
Çakar praised the referee's overall performance but highlighted one critical incident. "The referee managed the match very, very well, his only mistake was letting the challenge on Sane go with a yellow card." he said. He added that Galatasaray's defense collapsed with errors involving Sanchez and others, calling it shameful.
