Trabzonspor are pushing for a loan move for Manchester United goalkeeper André Onana, who has been celebrating winning the Turkish Cup with the club over the past month. Onana has been a key player for Trabzonspor, making 102 appearances for the club, and the team would like to keep him for another year. However, Manchester United will be keen to free up funds for summer investment, making a loan move unlikely as they recoup the £46M they paid for him back in July 2023. Onana's wage is expected to rise over the summer in line with the rest of the squad after United sealed Champions League qualification. The current plan is for Onana to join Manchester United's preseason under Michael Carrick, but talks will follow with the club and Onana's camp to discuss the loan deal. Lammens, who was voted as the Premier League's signing of the season on Monday, will not be replaced by Onana, but the Cameroonian will return to the club for preseason as per Fabrizio Romano.
