Trabzonspor, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş are seeking the postponement of their UEFA matches to avoid conflicts with their upcoming domestic league games. Fenerbahçe, which will face Olympique Lyon in the UEFA Champions League play-off, and Trabzonspor, which will play Ferencvaros in the UEFA Europa League play-off, are among the clubs making this request. Beşiktaş, which will face Kauno Zalgiris in the UEFA Europa League play-off, will also be involved in the domestic league and is expected to submit a similar request. The clubs argue that representing Turkey in Europe and the need for a short break between competitions justify their requests. The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) is expected to receive the clubs' applications and make a decision. Trabzonspor is set to play its first UEFA play-off match on August 18, while Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş will face their respective opponents on August 20. The domestic league's second round matches are also scheduled for the same dates, with Fenerbahçe facing Konyaspor, Trabzonspor against Başakşehir, and Alanyaspor versus Beşiktaş. If the TFF approves the clubs' requests, the new dates for these matches will be determined.
